You could also use the mpi2vis repository to perform this task. It provides the hdf2xmf.sh command, which generates a single xdmf file for all the hdf files in a directory. On 2d data generated by up2d, use it with Hdf2xml.sh -2 It generates a file ALL.xmf readable by paraview and possibly visit. It can be used for 3d data as well. I therefore don't think we'll merge the pull request, but it certainly is very nice that you make one! |

Add subroutine write_xdmf to save a xdmf per time step, a small ascii file that
paraview (or visit) can load.
